Urban Sage Study is a small start-up company with a vision to provide overseas education services that truly meet the needs of both students and parents. We offer personalized guidance and accessible services from professionals with over 20 years of firsthand experience abroad—covering academics, living, culture, and working in foreign countries. We understand the common challenges Thai students and their families often face. Our mission is to provide targeted advice that helps students and parents gain a clear vision and well-defined goals for studying abroad.
Our company is officially certified by the British Council as an authorized education consultancy for studying in the United Kingdom. We also hold certification in Child-Safeguarding Training from the UK, demonstrating our commitment to the care and well-being of children and young people.
In addition, we have extensive experience supporting students under the age of 18 who pursue long-term education at boarding schools in the UK. We also serve as guardians for Thai students participating in the Fox Hunt program—an initiative by King Power Group and Leicester City Football Club aimed at developing football skills among Thai youth.
This background equips us with unique expertise in supporting students not only academically and holistically, but also in nurturing their athletic potential, especially in football.
Urban Sage Study is a family-run business primarily based in the United Kingdom. The company was founded in 2022 by Khru Chom (Prueksakorn Chawong)—the owner and founder—with over 25 years of extensive experience in the field of education.
Khru Chom previously worked in the higher education sector at Khon Kaen University in Thailand for more than a decade. In the UK, she has over 7 years of teaching experience at co-educational boarding schools, giving her a deep understanding of both the Thai and British education systems, as well as the unique challenges Thai students may face within them.
Her professional background is diverse. She has worked as part of the sports news team for the world-renowned Leicester City Football Club, served as an assistant chef in a Thai restaurant abroad, and taught Thai and English as a guest lecturer in Japan.
Academically, Khru Chom holds two Master’s degrees—one from the University of New South Wales in Australia and another from the University of Nottingham in the UK.
We act as trusted advisors, providing the care and support that parents would offer, while closely coordinating with schools, families, and—most importantly—understanding the true needs of each student. Every case is personally overseen by Khru Chom, who offers one-on-one guidance and support, ensuring that each service we provide is personalized and tailored to meet the unique goals and satisfaction of every student and parent.
